每逢佳節前後,骨科門診總是多了不少抱怨肩頸不舒服的民眾。不少經驗老到的醫師也發現,只要血脂肪、膽固醇控制不佳,病患就常會有『脖子肩膀緊緊』的不適感。
日本一項研究顯示,低密度脂蛋白膽固醇(LDL-C)越高,患有肩頸疼痛的機會就越高。深入探究原因,目前學界認為脂肪代謝時,產生的氧化壓力,會造成神經慢性發炎及退化,因此可能與異常的肩頸僵硬、痠痛有關。無獨有偶,芬蘭研究也顯示肥胖或代謝症候群也與肩頸痛有關。另一項日本研究更顯示,代謝症候群會影響脊椎椎間盤的健康程度。
或許,你在吃完第一顆蛋黃酥,或吃下一片醬烤里肌夾土司後,想再拿下一個的時候,除了想想腰圍,也可以摸摸那隱隱作痛的脖子,稍稍節制一下。
